Our in-house engineering staff makes it possible for SCI to respond quickly to even the most complicated problems experienced by our clients. We are readily available to consult on a wide variety of topics, including design work, in-situ soil conditions, truss and wood frame repairs in addition to building code plan reviews.

Our engineering department is headed by Senior Engineer Gary F. Furr, P.E.  Gary was educated at the University if Virginia, and University of Oxford UK, and trained directly underneath SCE’s highly accredited geotechnical engineer, Dr. Lawrence Rude.  Gary is experienced and qualified to complete all your engineering needs and expertise in the study of slope stability, shrink/swell conditions, concrete works and structural engineering.  He has successfully earned the respect of our competitors as well as local government regulators and has the experience to finish your job efficiently and effectively.  Through Gary Furr‘s and Dr. Lawerence Rude’s expertise, SCE is able to provide our clients with a broad spectrum of services, including but not limited to:
