Engineering Technician
Description: Entry level position. Duties include but are not limited to performing construction inspections and materials testing (soil, concrete, and asphalt).
Qualifications: The qualified applicant is a motivated, bright, self-starter. Applicant must have a driver’s license, a good driving record and reliable transportation. Experience is not essential, but WACEL certification is preferred.
Soil Scientist
Description: Duties include but are not limited to running percolation tests, soil mapping, site investigation, coordinating with clients and the health department, application preparation, and various other responsibilities incumbent with operations in the Percolation Department.
Qualifications: The qualified applicant will possess extensive expertise in methods of field and lab soil identification (particularly soil textures), and sampling methods. They will also possess a strong working knowledge of natural soil and groundwater systems. It is expected that they be proficient on a computer. Knowledge of relevant state, county, and local health codes is favored. A BS in Soil Science or other related field is preferred.
